Deacon Elijah JacksonFLORENCE -- Funeral service for Deacon Elijah "Dusty" Jackson will be 1 PM Wednesday in the Bethel Apostolic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Peoples Funeral Service of Florence. He died Saturday August 22, 2015. He was born in Summerton, SC a son of the late Willie Mae Jackson. He attended the public schools of Clarendon County. He was employed at Goodyear for many years and retired in 2009. He was a faithful member of the Bethel Apostolic Church and served as a Deacon. Survivors include: his wife of 34 years, Hattie Jackson; seven children; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-six grandchildren.The family is receiving friends at 506 Ingram St., Florence.
