Judith Ann "Judy" Light, 61, of Myerstown, died Monday, March 28, 2016, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Route 419 in Cornwall.
She was the wife of Mark A. Light, to whom she was married 43 years on January 26, 2016.
Born in East Stroudsburg on August 22, 1954, she was the daughter of Jessie (Taylor) Hankins, of Escondido, CA, and the late Rev. William Hankins.
A 1972 graduate of Northern Lebanon High School, Judy was a member of Harvest Bible Chapel, Myerstown, volunteered with the ELCO School District Released Time program, and enjoyed various arts and crafts, including handmade jewelry and painting. She loved volunteering every year to face paint for the Children's Miracle Network in Hershey; she was on her way home from this event at the time of the accident.
In addition to her husband and mother, Judy is survived by daughters, Lindsay, wife of Keith Bender, of Lebanon, Ashley, wife of Lee Cessna, of Lebanon, Autumn Light, at home; sons, Andrew, husband of Melissa Light, of Lancaster, Matthew, husband of Kelly Light, of Myerstown, Timothy Light, at home; grandchildren, Evan, Tessa, Ryann, Carleigh, Keely, Quentin, and Cameron; a brother, William "Max", husband of Debbie Hankins, of Escondido, CA; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Harvest Bible Chapel, 101 S. Railroad St., Myerstown, preceded by a visitation with the family beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will be private at Bunker Hill E.C. Church Cemetery, Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Miracle Network, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033, or to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central PA, 745 West Governor Rd., Hershey, PA 17033.
