Edgar Lewis Thomas, age 74, of Montgomery City, Mo., formerly of Centralia, Mo., died at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia, Mo., March 21, 2016. He was born March 14, 1942 in VanBuren County, Iowa, the son of Hillary Thomas and Velma Irene Hudson Thomas. On June 11, 1960 he was married to Mary (Martsching) in Ottumwa, Iowa and she preceded him in death Dec. 9, 2007. He was married to Juanita Joyce Hagood on March 8, 2014 and she survives at the home. He graduated from Doudes High School and attended Central Bible College for one year. Edgar attended Parkview Christian Church when he lived in Centralia, Mo. He worked for MoDot and was Maintenance Supervisor when he retired; he worked for Centralia School District as a bus driver for a number of years; a member of the Lions Club in Montgomery City, Mo. and enjoyed going to the Senior Center.
