Lewis Smith
VALOIS - Lewis Smith, 82, of
County Road, town of Hector, died
at home Thursday following an
extended illness.
There are no prior calling hours.
The funeral will be at the convenience
of the family at the John D.
Covert Funeral Home, Ovid. The
Rev. Lawrence Dalhberg, pastor of
the Valois Community Church, will
officiate. Burial will be in Seneca
Union Cemetery, Valois, in the
spring.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the charity of one's choice.
Mr Smith was the son of Ernest
and Lucie Smith. He was a veteran
of World War II. He was a selfemployed
mason contractor.
Surviving are one half-brother,
Richard Savey of Elmira; and
several nieces and nephews.
