Ocala - Lester Bertram Poole, Jr., 95, of Ocala passed away March 21, 2016. Born in Marlborough, MA he came to this area many years ago. He was a retired house painter and a US Coast Guard Veteran where he served for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester B. and Freda M (Dawes) Poole, Sr.; his wife, Mildred Poole; and his brother, Laurance K. Poole.
He is survived by his sister, Audrey L. Nowick of Ocala and close friend, Walter Perkins of Ocklawaha.
Mr. Poole will be interred with his wife at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala. Arrangements by Roberts Funeral Homes, Downtown Chapel 606 SW 2nd Ave. Ocala 622-4141.
