Gregory H Winegar (Greg) 61, passed away on March 23, 2016, at his home in Santaquin, UT, Surrounded by his family.

Greg was born April 30, 1954, to Betty and Grant Winegar in Payson UT. He grew up working on the family farm along with his three older brothers.

He graduated from Payson High where he met his future wife, Leola Oram. They were married July 26, 1974, in Elberta UT. They were later sealed to each other and their three children in the Salt Lake Temple.

Greg was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in many callings his last being the Bishop of his beloved Santaquin 5th ward.

Greg loved many things, but first and foremost was his Family.

Don’t mourn for Greg, he left us with lasting memories and has left his broken body here on earth, and at this moment his great laugh is echoing the halls of heaven.

Greg is survived by his family and too many friends to name or count.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his step father John, (Jack) R Call.

He is survived by his wife and children. Kirk G (Melissa) Winegar, Kara Lee (Tyrel) Irons, Rachel (Dan) Christensen. His four grandchildren, Kallen and Caleb Winegar, Adelyn and Tucker Christensen. Nephew Brett R Oram.

His brothers; Bruce (Karen), Brian (Delee), Val (Pam), his sister Alice (Lee) Murdoch.

His step sisters, Cheryl (DeMonte) Pierce, Jan Fisher, Debbie (Van) Stosich, Jackie (Steve) Duerden.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at the Santaquin 5th Ward, 90 South 200 East, Santaquin UT. There will be a viewing held Monday, March 28, 6-8:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 587 S 100 W Payson, UT, and at the church prior to the services 9:45 – 10:45. Burial will be in the Santaquin Cemetery.
