Alma Carolyn Cummins was born July 3, 1909 in Kansas to B.F. and Addie Crail. She was one of seven children. Alma married Robert G. Cummins in 1928 in Drexel, Missouri. In 1934 they moved to California and in 1937 settled in Stockton. Alma was a homemaker for over 85 years, she loved her flower garden and raised vegetables for canning. The family would look forward to a jar of jelly at Christmas from Grandma. One of her specialties was making homemade rolls with her great-grand daughter Suzanne who now continues that tradition. Alma was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ since 1987 and enjoyed her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert G. Cummins and her son Robert D. Cummins. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Jo (Carl) Moore and Lora Dean (Al) Hinkle, four grandsons, Garth and Greg Moore and Eldon and Phillip Hinkle, thirteen great grandchildren, thirty great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandson. Visitation will be held at ABC Wallace on Wednesday January 30, 2013 from 10am to noon with a Graveside services at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi, at 2pm A memorial will be held at Eastside Church of Christ 3880 East Fremont Ave at 3:00 pm. Memorials in her name can be made to the Eastside Church of Christ.
