Mark Brandon Burrell, 15, of 434 CCC Camp Road, died Feb. 9, 2001, at Greenville Memorial Med- ical Center.

A native of Greenville County, he was the son of Anthony and Cindy Whitman Burrell, a 10th grade student at Greer High School and a member of the J.V. baseball team. He attended New Covenant Assembly of God.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, T.J. Burrell of the home; a sister, Kellie Cox of Wellford; maternal grandparents, Willis and Beatrice Whitman of Greer; maternal great-grandparents, Henry and Frances Sammons of Greer; and paternal grandparents, Claude and Kathy Burrell of Taylors. He was predeceased by a grandmother, Shelby Singleton.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Monday at Apalache Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Keith Hannon and the Rev. John White. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ray Lewis, Dean Crisp, Chad Hannon, Tom Myers, Brent Rhymer, Keith Peahuff, Daryl Brown and Ken Forrester.

The members of the Greer J.V. baseball team will serve as honorary escort.

Visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home, 434 CCC Camp Road, Greer.
