She was retired from Northwest General Nursing Home in Birmingham, Ala. after ten years of service.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Johnny L. Young, of Martinsville, Va.; two daughters, Joyce Taylor, of Milwaukee, Wis.; and Jacqueline Young, of Martinsville, Va.; one sister, Juanita Fowler, of Milwaukee, Mich.; one brother, Nathaniel Fowler, of Milwaukee, Wis.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at Hope in Christ Ministries with Elder Henry Hairston, officiating. Burial will be private.
