Barry Gardner Rogers, 73, of Ayden, passed away on March 20, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center. He was born in Beaufort Co., NC on March 24, 1942 to Nicholas and Katie Rogers.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Loyce “Tom” Rogers, Lindsey Harold Rogers and David Rogers; two sisters, Eula Gaskins and Estelle Anderson.
He proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Navy. Barry retired from E.I. DuPont after 34 years of service. He was also employed with Genetic Concepts for three years and with Maconbacon for over two years.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 2:00pm at Farmer Funeral Service-Ayden. Burial will follow in the Ayden Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7-9pm at the funeral home and other times at the family home.
