The Lt. Todd W. Krodle Memorial Foundation and the Dallas Hispanic Firefighters Association have coordinated together to allow Marco's Dallas Fire Department Family and the greater DFW community to come together to help cover Marco's funeral expenses for his family. Every dime raised will go to the Davila Family to be used at their discretion. Our hope is that we will be able to work together to relieve the burden of the cost of a funeral from his family.

∼Marco Antonio Davila born September 8, 1970, met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 23, 2016.
Marco was about to complete his 20th year with the Dallas Fire Rescue. He served as a Driver Engineer of Engine 15B in the heart of Oak Cliff. Marco loved and put Christ above all. Secondary to that came his family. He married his childhood sweetheart. He was an exceptional and loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend. Marco had a heart of gold, but his hallmark was definitely his charming and captivating personality. He would light up the room and would have you laughing in a minute. There was no doubt that Marco was proud of his heritage. You would often hear him say that he was Brown and Proud! He will truly be missed but as someone recently said, "those that don’t believe in Heroes, never met Marco Davila".
Marco was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Davila and is survived by his wife Denise Davila. Children, Marc and Mariah Davila. Grandchild, Avery Davila. Mother, Francisca Castro. Stepfather, Ramiro Castro. Siblings, Roberto Davila Jr., Eduardo Davila, Guillermo Davila and Lorena Davila and a host of other relatives and friends
