He was born March 26, 1931, in Clarksville to Donald James and Marguerite Dixon Tyson McMahon.
He was the owner of Belle Point Beverages Inc. and Belle Point Ranch. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Ann McMahon of the home; four daughters, Mary Lynn and husband Marvin Holland Jr. of Branch, Kathleen and husband Tim McGuire of Fort Smith, Julie and husband Steve French of Beaverton, Miss., and Susan and husband Rick Taylor of Lavaca; one son, David McMahon Jr. and wife Tammy of Fort Smith; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Rosary will be said Monday at 6 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with a reception to follow at the IC Youth Building.
Mass will be said Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery, all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
