The second of five children born to Benjamin & Susan (Warfield) Goddard of Homer, Rush Co IN, George married:
1) Rachel Elizabeth Coppinger in Jefferson Co KS.
2) Eva May King on 14 Dec 1898 in Oskaloosa, Jefferson Co KS.

George's mother died shortly after the birth of her last child, in 1849. By Sep 1850 his father had remarried. By Sep 1860 his father was deceased and George and all his siblings lived with their step-mother.

By Jun 1870, George is married with two young sons; his step-mother has remarried and all George's siblings live with him and his new wife. By Census 1880, his siblings were mostly older and all on their own.

Wife Rachel died in 1897. George remarried the next year to Eva May King. They had no children.

Know all men by these presents that I George N. Goddard of Claremore Oklahoma do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all forever will by me made.
1. First my will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
2 Second I give to my beloved wife Eva M Goddard all my household goods and furniture and the use of the lot (3) in block (77) Claremore Oklahoma, and the buildings thereon so long as she cares to occupy them herself and keep up insurance, taxes and repaires, and when she is through with the houses and lot it shall become the property of my estate.
3. Third to my son Frank Goddard I give four thousand dollars $4000./00.
4. Fourth - I give to each of the following names sones and daughters the sum of seven thousand dollars $7000./00.
Charles Edgar Goddard, John T. Goddard, Rebeca Goddard Cunningham, Samuel Goddard, Nellie Goddard Freling, Mae Goddard Hudson, Homer Goddard, Jess Goddard.
5th Fifth, I give to my granddaughter Zella Goddard, the daughter of Frank Goddard, three thousand dollars $3000./00.
6. Sixth - I give all the residue and remainder, if any of my estate to all my grandchildren that is living at time of my death.
7. Seventh - If any of the legatees should try to contest this Will they shall forfeit all their right and interest [sic] in the estate and are barred form participating therefrom.
8. Eighth - I hereby appoint my sones John T. Goddard and Jess Goddard to be executors of this my last Will and testament.
It is my desire that the estate be settled up as soon as possible after my death -

It is my will and wish that the amount willed to my son Samuel Goddard, namely seven thousand Dollars (7000./00) be given to his two daughters Jelean and Jeneva Goddard in equal shares.

2. It is my Wish and Will that my Wife Eva M. Goddard be paid eight hundred and Ninety-eight Dollars ($898./00) out of my estate by the administrators of my estate to make Good insurance shortage.
In testimony where off [sic], I, George N. Goddard gave subscribed my name this the 12th day of August 1921.

I hereby will and bequeath to my Wife Eva M. Goddard, the following described property and all pertaining thereto.
Lots 1 and 2 and W 10 ft of N. 70 ft 10 and all loats [sic] 11 and 12 block 152 the original townsite of Claremore, and lots 22, 23 and 26 block 2 Dennison addition to the City of Claremore, Okla.
In testimony whereof I George N. Goddard have subscribed my name this the 27th day of October 1923.
