Funeral services for Mr. Jessie J. Roberts, 82, of Wisner, LA will be held at Kings Pentecostal Church on Wed., Oct. 4, 2006 at 2 PM with Rev. C. R. "Sonny" Nugent and Rev. Stanley Risinger officiating. Interment will follow at Kings Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
He passed away at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro. He was an iron worker and a member of Kings Pentecostal Church.
Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his father, Spencer Roberts; mother, Myrtis Mason Roberts; and brothers, T. G. and Otis Roberts. Survivors include wife, Daisy Roberts, sons, Harold "Red" Roberts and James "Doodle" Roberts; daughter, Edith R. Finley; brothers, Bill, Lloyd, Lawrence and Sam Roberts.
