Joseph Albert Criner Sr [Overstreet] was last seen alive in June of 1990. There has been no activity on his bank account, credit cards or his social security record since the day he disappeared.

Joe is the firstborn son of Joseph Edward Overstreet. He is the only son of Eileen Juanita Criner-Milar. Joe was adopted in infancy by his maternal grandparents, Albert B.L. & Iva Mae McKay-Criner.

He enlisted in the Air Force in the 1960s and served his country honorably.

Marietta City Police Department, Cobb County, Georgia lists his case number as: 91-016753 .

Joe left his home at 3744 Robinson Road, Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia after speaking to his sister, Lois I.Lyttle by phone. He informed her that he was going to Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia for a dinner date with his youngest child, Ursula.

Ursula Shae Criner (age 13 at that time) was taking her dad out for dinner. He never arrived.

No trace of Joe Criner or his vehicle has been found. He is presumed deceased.

Ursula was devastated as her dad had always kept his promises to her. She knew something had happened to him.

Sadly, on September 10, 1992, weeks before her 16th birthday, Ursula was found deceased. .

Had Joe been alive and learned of his daughter's death, nothing would have prevented him from going to her service. Had he lived, his child would likely still be alive.

Joe was friends with a number of celebrities. Among those friends were Raymond Burr, Julie Christie and Frank Sinatra.

He dressed in the latest men's fashions, wore expensive jewelry and his cars were never more than 11 months old.

"QB Joe Criner Kissimmee Osceola 1952" was given the opportunity to play for the Miami Dolphins after graduation.
