On April 3, 1926 in Butler County, Missouri, she married Chester Dee Farran and on April 15, 1928 had a daughter they named Peggy Ruth. Eva worked as a seamstress in St. Louis for many years. She later married Alvin G. Gross. Eva is buried in Poplar Bluff City Cemetery in Missouri.
