Audrey Johnson Lambert, age 86, of Waynesville passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. October 7, was also her 67th wedding anniversary. A native of Hyde County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Elisha Johnson and Clara Bell Weston.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Lamba Sigma Alpha National Sorority, and the Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.). She was also involved in the Daily Blessings Ministries here in Waynesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Lambert, who died in 2004 and her two sisters, Frances Forbes and Mal Swindell.
