Mary Lois Loving, 65, of Fredericksburg died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at her residence. She was a member of Eagles Lodge 4123, was an avid bingo player and loved to scratch lottery tickets.

She is survived by her husband, James Smith Loving; one son, Billy Fishel of North Port, Fla.; four daughters, Wanda Faye Folsom of New Bern, N.C., Patricia Loving of Ruther Glen, and Kathy Elkins and B.B. Elliott, both of Caroline County; two brothers, David Ryder and Glen Ryder, both of Spotsylvania; three sisters, Rebecca Riley of Culpeper, Joyce Payne of Mineral and Evelyn Waybright of Lake of the Woods; 12 grandchildren, Mark, Joey, Crystal, T.J., Valerie, Donnie, Melissa, Mary Ann, Jamie, David Lee Jr., Alyssa and Kristen; 11 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Little Ray, Nick, William, Mark Jr., Isaiah, Jasmine, Ashley N., Amber, Drew and Lee Ann; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. Mildred Mabe officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday Aug. 19, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
