PATRICK K. STEWART, 57, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Patrick worked as a carpenter with E & V Construction. He was a member of the Laborers, Teamsters & Carpenters Union. Patrick loved scuba diving and traveling. He was an extremely compassionate and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years, Valerie; daughter, Breanna R. Stewart; parents, Charles Kurtis and Bonnie Stewart of Fort Wayne; brother, Mike (Lori) Stewart of Fort Wayne; sisters, Julie (John Bachert) McCarthy of Niceville, Fla. and Amy (Rich) Taylor of Michigan; godchildren, Ryan, Nicole and Madeline; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, with a gathering one hour prior. The Rev. Mike Smith officiating.
