Judy Maddox, age 57, who was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 11, 2007 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her and shared her life.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2007, at Hillandale Memorial Park, in Lithonia, at 2pm, with Dr. Carey Hudson officiating.
Mrs. Maddox was the best mother, wife and homemaker and a caregiver to the elderly and people in need.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, William (Bill) Maddox; two loving sons, Denny Maddox and Doug Maddox; one beloved granddaughter, Reanna Maddox all of Conyers. She is also survived by two brothers, Bill Thompson and wife, Diana, of Snellville and Larry Pourron and wife, Brenda, of Conyers; two sisters, Marian T. Taylor and husband, Blake, of Broadford, VA and Terry Thompson Wright and husband, Mike, of Grayson; many nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly.
