Doris Pearson McClure, age 73, of Villa Rica (formerly of Marietta) passed away March 22, 2016. Funeral Services were held in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Pastor David Bivens officiating. Burial was at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
Doris was born in Cumming and lived in Marietta most of her life. She graduated from Marietta High School and had a fulfilling career working for the IRS before retiring. She was a leader in the Red Hat Society, very hard working, intelligent, detail oriented and the life of the party! She never turned anyone in need away. She had a big heart and loved her family most of all.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents Willis and Inez Pearson and her son Karry McClure. She is survived by her son Kevin (Susie) McClure of Villa Rica; grandchildren Christopher (Haley), Kathryn (Jeremy), Rick (Sara), Robyn, Taylor (Tyler) and great grandchildren Ethan, Kimberlie, Camryn and two more great grandchildren on the way.
