Andrew's wife was Polly Drake, who was living as late as 1842, according to Allen Stratton in his History of South Heroe Island, Vol. II (1980). Stratton indicates that the family arrived on South Heroe Island 1787-1788. They settled on the north part of what is now Grand Isle. They had six children, all born in Grand Isle: Ascha, Goodrich, Spellman, Electa, Polly and Annis.
