"Invitations have been issued announcing the marriage of Miss Mabel Kathryn Mauchley to Wm. C. Ainsworth on Wednesday evening Oct. 26, 1904 at 6:30 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents in Elmo Kansas."

"Mrs. Mabel Ainsworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Mauchley, was born June 17, 1882, in this county; died Nov. 23, 1908, aged 26 years, 5 months and 6 days. She was married Oct. 26, 1904, to W.C. Ainsworth. To them were born two children, Myrtle, aged 3 years; Clarence, aged 1 year. Besides the husband and children she leaves father and mother, one brother, W.A. Mauchley of Atchison, and three sisters, Mrs. W.A. Mourer, Mrs. R.E. Stark and Miss Minnie Mauchley, all of this county. Mabel spent a little over two years at the county high school at Chapman and while there she was a favorite among her schoolmates and all through life was loved by all who knew her, making a friend of every acquaintance. She was a consistent member of the Church of the Brethren uniting with the church at the age of 20. The funeral was conducted by Elder J.F. Hantz at the Holland church. And she was laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery.
J.W. Mauchley of Ohio, uncle of Mrs. Ainsworth, came here to attend the funeral."

Mabel(Mauchley) Ainsworth died from consumption.
