Carol Ann Jessee Shelton, age 57, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at her residence.

Born March 31, 1958, in New Castle, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Gladys Elkins Jessee. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Jessie.

Carol is survived by her husband, Tony Shelton; one son, Darin Shelton of Morehead; one daughter and son-in-law, Staci and Travis Montgomery of Morehead; two grandchildren, Jerry Shelton and Trevor Montgomery; two brothers, Bruce Jessee and Wayne Jessee, both of Soldier; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a homemaker and member of the Lost Chords Club. Carol enjoyed feeding birds, bird watching, going to yard sales, attending car shows, and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Gayle Price officiating. Burial will follow in Bradley Cemetery.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
