Randy Petersen, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family March 19, 2016 in Loveland, CO. Randy was born to Helen and Arnold Petersen July 17, 1952 in Carroll, Iowa. He moved to Loveland from Audubon, Iowa in 1978. He spent 25 years working at Hach, most recently as the Vice President of Human Resources. After working a short time at Foothills Gateway, Randy was able to retire. He loved to fish, golf, make trips to Black Hawk and Las Vegas and spend time with his beloved dogs Skyler and Micah. Family was the highlight of Randy's life, he was a devoted son, brother, father and grandfather; he enjoyed watching his family play tennis, and loved every moment he spent with his 2 grandsons. He was a big sports fan and he got to watch his Broncos win the Super Bowl as his final game. Randy is survived by his sons; Jared (Dawn) Petersen, and Brian Petersen, grandchildren Carter and Wyatt Petersen, brothers Wayne "Lefty" (Jeanette) Petersen and Jerry (Loretta) Petersen, and sisters Marilyn (Walter) Anderson and Elizabeth Schrader. He is preceded in death by his parents; Helen and Arnold Petersen, sisters Gloria Munch, Charlotte Finnerty and Lois Rasmussen and his nephew and special friend Steven Munch. A celebration of Randy's life will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:30am followed by inturnment and reception at Resthaven Memory Garden.
