CARR VISTA – Janice Irene Goff, 68, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Tupelo on July 19, 1947, to Burton and Palmer Jones Turner. Janice, along with her husband, Tommy, was long-time owners of Goff's County Market in Richmond. She was a member of Skyline Church of Christ. Janice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed quilting and enjoyed working in her flower beds with her grandchildren. But, most of all, she loved and treasured time spent with her grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Skyline Church of Christ with Minister Troy McNutt and Minister Robert Kingsley officiating. A graveside will follow at Lee Memorial Park. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Tommy Layne Goff; sons, Janson Layne Goff (Beth) and Tracy Allen Goff (Chanda); grandchildren, Brandon Goff, Laney Goff, Ty Goff, Christian Goff, Makenzie Goff and Brady Goff; sister, Judy Mitchell; brothers, Gene Turner (Carolyn), Jackie Turner (Barbara Ann), Sam Turner and Bill Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ted Turner; sister, Mildred Stembridge; infant sister, Patsy Sue Turner.
Pallbearers will be John Adam Goff, Nathan Goff, Bill Goff, Chas Goff, Mike Mitchell, Kevin Mitchell, Craig Mitchell and Mathew Nichols.
