November 4, 1915
In memory of Otto Nix, who passed away Friday, October 29, 1915, after a short illness of typhoid. He leaves a wife and three dear children, to mourn his loss, but heaven's gain. A few days before his illness he was talking of heaven's blessings. He was a member of Germania Baptist Church. The church will miss him. We pray his wife and children may ever live in the faith of the Lord, and meet him where parting will be o'er.
Call not back the dear one departed
Anchored safe where storms are o'er
On the border land we left him
Soon to meet ad part no more
When we leave this world of changes
When we leave this world of care
We shall find out missing loved one
In our Father's mansion fair.
