Dennis' parents were Leslie and Irene (Peterson) Larson. He was the fifth of 13 children. Dennis was a U.S. army veteran; he served during the Viet Nam era. Dennis married Dolores Ludwig on Aug. 24, 1972 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Dennis was a farmer, besides working at Custom Products, Litchfield, Minnesota. Dennis and Dolores had 6 children and 14 grandchildren, 2 of whom preceded him in death.
