SNOW HILL — Anna Beatrice Chevalier passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 9, 2011. Her warm personality and loving way and smiles will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her dear friend, Garry Parsons; sisters, Lillian Wilkerson Broman and her husband, Bruce, of Snow Hill and Mary Bryant and her husband, Richard, of Roanoke, Va. She leaves her loving nieces Katherine Hammes of Roanoke and Missy Wilkinson of Sunderland, Md.; nephews, Chet Hammes of Alexandria, Va., Jonathon Hammes of Roanoke and David Wilkinson and his wife, Carol, of Blackstone, Va.; great-nieces Kaitlyn Weaver and Allison Weaver, both of Sunderland; and great-nephews, Wade Hammes and Chase Hammes of Roanoke and Scott Foy of Prince Frederick, Md. She is also survived by her loving aunt, Florence Fisher, of Nashville, Tenn. She leaves many devoted and loyal friends.

Mrs. Chevalier was an active member of the Worcester County Mental Health Advisory Board and was dedicated to improving the lives of those with mental health disorders.

A service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Burbage Funeral Home in Snow Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Whatcoat Cemetery.

A donation in her memory may be made to Mental Health Association of the Lower Shore, PO Box 2774, Salisbury, Md. 21802.
