Donna Jean Greer, 48, of Spotsylvania County left us to go home to our dear Lord after a heart attack while she was in Tennessee on Saturday, March 12, 2016.
Donna graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She was a manager of a detail shop before moving to Tennessee where she took up the skill of laying cable for Comcast. Donna was never afraid of work. She would always roll up her sleeves and help anyone do whatever needed to be done.
Donna loved watching NASCAR races and the Washington Redskins.
Donna loved her family unconditionally. She also loved people and loved animals especially her dogs, Scrapple and Duce. Donna was always a loving and caring person and she always had a way to make you smile. She will always be loved and missed dearly.
Donna leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Ashley Nicole Embrey; mother and stepdad, Kay and Marshall Martin; brother, Steve Greer and wife, Tina; their daughters, Danielle and Hailey Greer; brother, Bryan Scott Greer and his son, Brayden; and her fiancée, Dave Orr.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Harry Lee Greer, Jr.; and her nephew, Steven Lynn Greer, Jr.
Donna’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
