Harry Stone, Sr. Obituary

Harry Milton Stone, Sr., 63, Wagoner, OK, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at his home. He was born on April 23, 1950, in McCook, NE, to Dick Leroy Stone and Etna Mae (Thornley) Stone. Harry and Barbara (Hackett) were married about 12 years ago.

Harry served in the United States Army. His passion was for race cars and motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Nevada; two sons, two daughters, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Les Stone, Vernon County, MO; two sisters, Barbara Lawson, Talequah, OK, and Nancy Burris, Liberal, MO; one stepson, and one stepdaughter.


He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Roger.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO with Rev. Ron Marsh officiating.. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Moore Cemetery, Nevada. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
