Larry (Butch) Deaton, 68 of Athens, died Sunday at Huntsville Hospital. There will be a Graveside Service 3PM Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Bethel Cemetery in Teasdale Mississippi, visitation is Wednesday from 6-9PM at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Mr. Deaton was born February 26, 1948 in Charleston, Mississippi. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Deaton was retired from local union 669 as a Sprinkler Fitter. He married to Tanya Deaton on September 4, 1971, and was the oldest of three siblings.
Preceded in death by Mother: Lucille Perry.
