Jerry Roberson Dixon, son of Henry and Mary Jane Dixon, was born in Tennessee January 15, 1853, and died April 18, 1937, making his age 84 years, 3 months and 3 days.

He came to Missouri in 1866.

He leaves to mourn his passing, one brother, S.A. Dixon, Raymondville, and one sister, Jane Hollman, Hartville, Tenn.; seven children, Walter Dixon, Yukon, Arthur Dixon, Advance, Mo., Charlie and Elmer Dixon, of Yukon, Pearl Deeds, Raymondville; Emma Abrams, Mountain Grove, and Bertie Medlock, Yukon. His wife, Sarah Jane Dixon, one son, Artie, one daughter, Mellie, preceded him in death. He had made peace with the Lord before he passed away.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H.A. Higby at Big Creek church and burial under the direction of Elliott Funeral Home in Big Creek cemetery on Monday, April 19.
