Mrs. Edwina Bernice Jackson Lawson, 82, of Mayo, FL, passed away February 12, 2015, at Lafayette Health Care in Mayo following an extended illness. Edwina was born March 26, 1932 in Mayo, FL, to Reuben and Lena McCray Jackson. Mrs. Lawson was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Airline Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, and will truly be missed. In her spare time she enjoyed doing yard work, tending to her flowers, caring for her family, and being with her 2 grandsons. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Reuben and Lena Jackson.
Mrs. Lawson is survived by her husband of 46 years, Marvin Lawson, 2 sons, Derek Lawson, and wife Dana, of Mayo, and Neil Lawson, of Auburn, AL, a sister, Joyce Jackson Milton, and husband John, of Jacksonville, FL, 2 grandsons, Ruben and Stefan Lawson, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
