Albert's father was born in Alabama and mother in Georgia. On the 1920 Census, he was listed in Altanta, Georgia living with his parents. He married Maedell Latimer 02/27/1927 in Dallas, Texas, daughter of William Dan Latimer Sr and Ettie Penina Connor. On the 1930 Census, he was listed as a ruler for a printing company in Austin, Texas with his wife Maedell, sister-in-law Eunice Gray, and Eunice's son Billie, and daughter Rosemary. He was a retired Air Force colonel.
