Last rites for Mrs. Alice Carroll, widow of Malcolm Carroll, who died at her home, 653 West Austin Street, about 11:30 o'clock Friday morning, will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Immanuel Baptist Church, instead of at Emberson-Brown-Roden funeral home as originally announced.
The Rev. Raymond Smooth, pastor, assisted by the Rev. E. Lee Stanford of Garrett Memorial Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be made at Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be G. A Cheatham, D. B. Doss, Jewell Kindle, D. B Cunningham, Jewell Chruchwell and Sam Dingman.
Mrs. Carroll, 85 years old, leaves her aged father, the Rev S. W. Allen of Beeville; a brother, B. F Allen of Abilene, six half brothers and half sisters; two children, Jeff Carroll and Mrs. A. D. Cunningham, both of Paris, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
