Mrs. Julia Long, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away December 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held December 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tonia Z. Garrison, officiating.

Interment will follow in Long Cemetery, Millbrook, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Dallas Long; parents: Jack Long, Sr., Josie M. Young, and Elizabeth C. Long; son: Dallas T. Long; great-granddaughter: Destiny Moore Ellis; brothers: Elmore Long, Peter Long, and Gilbert Long, Sr.; and sisters: Marion Dunn, Bessye L. Zeigler, and Mary Louise Long.

She leaves to cherish her memories: loving and devoted children: Sharon R. Long, Betty Jo Long (William Greaves), Emerson A. Long, all of Montgomery, AL, and Warren A. Long, Killeen, TX; adopted brother: Timothy (Henrietta) Williams, Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Emma Zeigler, Montgomery, AL, Carrie Ivey, TX, Doris Channey and Elizabeth D. (Arthur) Upshaw, Melvindale, MI, Brenda E. (Adrian) Williams, Evans, GA, Lynn (Hyderick) Norman, Montgomery, AL; brothers: Jack (Helen) Long, Jr., Coosada, AL, Henry (Annie Lee) Long and Josh Long, Sr., Millbrook, AL; brothers-in-law: Mack (Julia) Jackson and Lawrence Long, Sr., Millbrook, AL; devoted friends: Earl (Pearl) Thomas, Montgomery, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
