Funeral Mass for Dorothy I. Sanguinet, 86, of Lampasas, formerly of Cleburne, was January 11, 2007, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lampasas with Father Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial was at the Naruna Cemetery in Burnet County.

Mrs. Sanguinet died January 8 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehab. She was born January 16, 1920, in Fort Worth to Braxton Braggs and Maud Shelton Wilson Toal. She married William Sanguinet, Jr. on March 17, 1937, in Fort Worth. The couple lived in Dallas, Fort Worth, Burleson and Cleburne where they co-owned and operated the truck stop in Cleburne for twenty years.

Mrs. Sanguinet was a member of the Catholic Church and had resided in Lampasas for the past three years.

She is survived by a son, William M. Sanguinet III, and wife Janet, of Lampasas; a daughter Pamela J. Sanguinet of Fort Worth; a sister, Bobbie Dear of Joshua; and three grandchildren and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents,; by brothers, Kenneth and James; and by sisters, Doris, Lois and Geraldine..
