Services for Marjorie E. Hopper will be held Thursday March 24, 2016 11:00 AM at North Carrollton Methodist Church in North Carrollton.

Mrs. Hopper, age 77 died on Friday March 18, 2016 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital of Heart Failure.She was born on February 19, 1939 in Carrollton, MS to the late William and Ruth O'Keefe Hopper and lived in Carrollton, MS. She resided in the Carrollton area for her entire life. She was employed at Heatcraft in Grenada and U.S. Corrulite in Winona.

Ms. Hopper was an active member at the North Carrollton Methodist Church and enjoyed the outdoors. She graduated from J.Z. George High School.

She is survived by one sister, Maxine Stanford of Vicksburg, MS, one niece, Melody (Mike) Barnes of Vicksburg, MS, one nephew, William Stanford of Sante Fe, NM, and one great Nephew, and Aaron Webb of Pearl, MS.

Pallbearers will be Brent Stanford, Mike Barnes, Bernard Taylor, TJ Nabors, and Larry Minyard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 24, 2016 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at North Carrollton United Methodist Church. Reverend Ed Saunders will officiate the services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery following the services. Memorials can be made to Evergreen Cemetery Association, North Carrollton United Methodist Church, or The Carrollton Methodist Church.
