77-year-old resident of Boston, Massachusetts and former resident of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan Joe Ferris has died. Proud to have been a student of the University of Detroit, School of Engineering, he was a businessman and entrepreneur in the semi-conductor industry. Joe is survived by his wife of 34 years; 3 daughters; 2 sons; 3 sons-in-law; a daughter-in-law; his mother; one brother; a sister; and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father, Joseph. He will be missed by his family, many friends and colleagues, and by his dog, Charlie. Family expressed it thanks for the loving care of Lahey Cancer Institute and VNA of Middlesex-East Hospice.
