Lloyd D. VanBlargan, 84, a former resident of Nuremberg, of 25 E. Coal St., Shenandoah, died Monday at his home.
Born in Nuremberg, Jan. 4, 1918, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mabel VanBlargan.
He attended local schools.
Mr. VanBlargan served in the Army during World War II.
Before retiring, he last worked at Alcola.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Stauffer-Heizenroth Funeral Home, 412 W. Main St., Ringtown.
Burial will be in the Nuremberg Cemetery, Nuremberg.
