Maxine L. Riley, 91, of Tiffin, March 20, 2016. Maxine was born in Owsley County, Kentucky to the late James C. and Lucy (Ward) Lynch. She married Seldon W. Riley in Jersey City, New Jersey September 17, 1944 and he preceded her in death September 22, 1994. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Paul, Joseph, James, and Gene Lynch and 2 sisters, Isabel Hood and Ruth L. Turner. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Kay (Mike) Hoffert of Tiffin, a son, Jim Riley of Tiffin, 5 grandchildren, Wendy Hoffert, Kara (David) Fribley, Rachael, Aaron, and Megan Riley and many nieces and nephews. She graduated from Green Springs High School in 1943 and attended Eastern Kentucky Teachers College. Maxine was well known for her delicious homemade pies. Friends may visit with the family from 1pm-3pm March 24, 2016 at the Engle Shook Funeral Home and Crematory in Tiffin. Graveside services will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
