Deborah M. (Moore) Bond, 82, of Leechburg, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. Born March 30, 1933, in Coatesville, she was a daughter of the late J. Wilson and Deborah (Davis) Moore. Deborah was a 1951 graduate of Parkesburg High School and lived in Leechburg since 1959. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener, reader, and card player who loved watching baseball and talking politics.Her true passion was spending time with her family and vacationing with them in Cape May, N.J. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph O. Bond, on Jan. 24, 2016; brother, J. Wilson (Catherine) Moore Jr.; and sister, Martha M. (Ronald) Geedy. Deborah is survived by her children, Michael A. (Carol Bruce) Bond, of New Brighton, David E. (Michelle) Bond, of Tarentum, Dorothy E. (Luis Gutierrez) Bond, of Leechburg, and Deborah B. (Daniel) Dunmire, of Leechburg; nine grandchildren, Samantha, Alexandra and Madalyn Bond, Daniel, David and Devin Dunmire, and Elizabeth, Julia, and Jackson Bond; sister-in-law, Madeline Moore, of Parkesburg; and many nieces and nephews.
At Deborah's request, there will be no viewing and services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to CURRAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREAMTION SERVICES, 300 Market St., Leechburg, PA 15656.
