Mrs. Sarah Ann Johnson of Tupelo, formerly of Baldwyn, died at noon Sunday at Caldwell Memorial Hospital here following an illness of four weeks. She was 81.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Bethany ARP Church with the pastor and the Rev. Ira Carlock officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany cemetery with Waters Funeral Home in charge. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Mrs. Johnson leaves three daughters, Mrs. Ollie Wigginton of Tupelo, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Burtie Lindsey of Wheeler and Mrs. Mattie Hamm of Corinth; six sons, William Johnson of Booneville, Demp and Lee Johnson of Guntown, Edgar, Bonnie and Lawrence Johnson of New Albany; and a sister, Mrs. Mattie George of Texas.
