Mendon, Ill., March 7.--Edward Brady died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at his home five miles east of Mendon. He had been ill since last Thanksgiving Day.
Mr. Brady was born August 17, 1872. He was never married and lived alone until his last illness came upon him, since which time a sister has lived with him and taken care of him.
He was a member of the Catholic church and he will be buried in the Bloomfield cemetery, but the time and place of the funeral have not yet been announced.

Mendon, Ill., March 8.--Funeral services for Edward Brady, who died Sunday at the old Brady home near Mendon, will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at St. Edward's Catholic church of this city. Interment will be at Bloomfield cemetery.
Mr. Brady, who had been ill since Thanksgiving, was one of the fourteen children of Mathew and Susan Brady and was born August 13, 1873, on the Brady homestead which he owned when he died. He was a faithful member and a trustee of St. Edward's church. He is the seventh of the fourteen children to die and is survived by seven brothers and sisters as follows:
Elizabeth Brady of Bloomington; Mrs. Rosa Davis of Los Angeles; Mrs. Frank Haistings of West Point, Ill.; Mrs. Alee Shaffer, Sr. of Ursa; Matthew of Fowler; Patrick, of Ursa, and Joseph of Omaha, Nebraska.
