Keith Martin Riley, Sr., age 62, passed away, on July 8, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Keith was born on April 6, 1953 in Bridgeport, CT. He was a kind and gentle soul, a loving father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He was a 1971 graduate of Bunnell High School in Stratford and a life­long resident of Stratford, and a long­standing member of the Pinewood Lake Association. A veteran of the United States Army, Keith was stationed in Germany during the final stages of the Vietnam Conflict. He worked for many years as a tool and die maker and machinist at Bodine, Handy and Harmon and most recently at Heim Bearings. He loved fishing on the lake,
especially when accompanied by his beloved son, Keith, Jr., who was his pride and joy and with whom he shared a special bond. Keith, Sr. was predeceased by his father, Arthur H. Riley, Sr. In addition to his son, Keith,
Sr. is survived by his daughter-­in-­law Kathleen and grandson Marten, his mother Kathleen Lucey Riley, his sister Priscilla Riley Abidor and her husband Dr. Gerard Abidor, his brother Arthur H. Riley, Jr. and his wife
Susann Gill Riley, and his sister Maureen Riley and her husband Roy Bittar. Keith's memory will also be cherished by his nieces, Meghan and Colleen, his nephew Tim, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and his
much­ loved canine companion, Cecil. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Catherine of Siena
Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull CT at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to CT Hospice 100 Doublebeach Rd. Branford, CT.
