STIVERS, John R. age 84, of Hamilton, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 3, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fred and Don; and a grandson. John is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Jean Stivers; daughters, Peggy (Ron) Hubbard, Nancy (Paul) Smith, and Penny (Tim) Bicknell; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth; his special little dog, Toby; many loved nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held at Ivey Funeral Home at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2565 Princeton Road in Hamilton, on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 10am to 12pm, followed by a service at 12pm, officiated by Pastor Tammy Jo Risner.
