Born October 18, 1920 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Pearl Bailey Buntain. A former employee of Wild Turkey Distillery, she was a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church and the Dorcas Sunday School Class.
Mabel is survived by her daughter, Sandra R. Cassidy of Phoenix, AZ and two grandchildren, Michael David Cassidy II and Dawn Michelle Cassidy, both of Phoenix, AZ. Along with her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Pearl Franklin, Norene McCoy, and Jude Buntain, and five brothers, Earl, Ellie, Willie, Maurice, and Grant Buntain.
Burial will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
