Richard E. Covey,55, entered into rest on Sunday morning, March 13, 2016 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Patty Covey. The had celebrated 32 years of marriage being wed on December 22, 1983.
He was born June 9, 1960 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Julia (Marschner) Rohrbaugh of York and the late Richard L. Covey.
Richard was a U.S. Army veteran having been discharged as a sergeant. He worked as a truck driver.
Including his wife and mother, Richard is also survived by his fury friends, Tazer, Sage and DJ; a sister, Diane Anthony and husband, James; niece, Stephanie West and husband, Rick; nephews, Brandon and wife, Angie and Colin and wife, Jeannette; two step sisters, Cindy Jones and Dawn Crowl; a step brother, Robert Rohrbaugh.
Richard enjoyed fishing and nature.
The services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., is assisting with arrangements.
