Claude Ellis Dillard, 80 of Chattanooga passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016.

He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church and former member of Harmony Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and shared the gospel with anyone who would listen. He retired from Singer Cobble after 30 years. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps Reserve, a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Scottish Rite Mason. He was a fast pitch softball pitcher during his time with Singer Cobble. He loved hunting and fishing and shared his passion with many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ore Cole Dillard; sister, Sissy Carson; stepson, Chris Green.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 21, 2016 from 6-8 pm and 12-1 pm on Tuesday at the Hwy 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Minister Calvin Headrick officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. II Timothy 4:7.
